Ergonomics

We call it Work Enhancement -  from the home to the corporate office, from the backyard garden to the commercial farm, the corner café to the factory floor.  EbD has proven record of increasing productivity and reducing the risk for injury among our diverse clients.  Our clients build their assets with Work Enhancement evaluation, training, and consulting customized for their workforce, workplace and budget.

Accessibility

Everyone has the right to inclusive access to the spaces, information, goods and services of the community. Individuals with impairments and older persons working and living independently in our community represent a rapidly growing segment of the population. Consultation with EbD empowers clients to improve access to home, business, campus and public spaces and services. Accessibility goes beyond ramps and grab bars to an understanding of the ways in which people interact with their environments.  We facilitate a comprehensive examination and analysis of space use to make life easier and more accessible for all.

Lifestyle Design

In an age where so many professionals promise health and wellness, we offer a proven system for helping individuals and groups improve the balance and personal performance in their lives.  We provide a variety of professional  expertise including registered occupational therapists, a registered dietitian, fitness and group exercise instructors and an extensive network of providers in the region to ensure our clients meet their wellness goals.

Specialized Rehabilitation

The practice of occupational therapy to enhance persons’ lives is the foundation of EbD's existence.  An effective and specialized therapy service is visual retraining and home modifications for individuals with Age Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD).  Carol John of EbD is skilled in providing this highly specialized form of occupational therapy.
